But that's actually what made me love it! Nothing really new, but almost everything you loved from the previous two games. Isn't that great? They couldn't have done that for more than one games, otherwise fans would have begin to get bored (even me!). SF3 was more about the storyline, and learning all this background on the main characters, than actually bringing new enteraining elements, and that's actually what I enjoyed about it.
You are right. I never thought if sf3 were like the other 2 games, maybe i had said "why didn't they change something in the game, always the same thing" ... but I don't think I (at least) didn't have myself boring with the same thing
That point you made of the storyline is good. But the problem was that i didn't like the levels. I don't know why.
I didn't feel the same that ni SF 1&2. I wasn't playing for something like in the previous SF that you had to "save the world"

I was playing knowing the end of that storyline... and then, comes new things in the senate building, so i thought "oh yeah! lets keep on" i liked the senate building & also DC subway but the battle with Mara Aramov was so bad... i expected a real battle, difficult for the first tryes like Rohemer or Chance.
Although i like Kabul, Afghanistan... but i the 1st level on the hotel just started the game and something told me "this game is somthing different" i felt like weird playing hotel fukushima, didn't like costa rican plantation, Galaxy Transport was to short and almost ALL of us knew how to beat Rohemer there, i felt Pugari Gold Mine & Complex tedious, I liked a LOT Kabul Afghnanistan (liked even more to take the bonus in hard mode without leaving nobody sees you

), i got a little bored on SS lorelei, i hated a lot the Aztec Ruins a LOT I don't know really why, i just hated it

, i liked waterfront, also i liked Docks final assault, Convoy a little bit, The Beast was great (I like to play it on hard mode and kill everybody

) i hated the 2 australian levels, i think a little tedious... and i didn't like Paradise Ridge, but i liked a lot Millitia Compound & the Underground bunker... and as i said i liked the senate building a lot and the subway but not the "fight" with Mara.
So, I didn't like so much levels from sf3, therefore I didn't like the game so much. I didn't like the music overall the game... i think this influenced a LOT on me. It doesn't compare to previous games music.
Well. Sorry if I said only my opinion. Now I read it is a little bit strong

but doesn't matter, i love SF and i enjoyed playing SF3 on hard mode, and enjoyed A LOT! taking all the bonus multiplayer & minigame stages.
I think I like games with good storyline, but I have to like also the gameplay

, that has to like a lot on me and sf3 didn't like me at 100% like 1&2.
You like a lot the storyline I see... to know more about the series by playing SF3 and maybe there is our little differences.

Developers made somewhat a bold decision in replacing Gabe with an anonymous character in the main role.
I think that was a crime.

Yet, storyling again was thoughtful with all these Zeus files you could read to learn more about the political situation. And the difficulty of the game offered a great challenge and I had a lot of fun replaying the game to get everything.
Hmm the Zeus files, i didn't read them all

i wanted VIDEOS like prev. SF!. And i hated there wasn't voice sounds in the game. That was so ridiculous for a PS2 game. It takes all the personality of the characters.
The difficulty of the game, yes it was great challenge.
