I've just finished translating the review for TOS and I've put it on-line.

I'll also appreciate any help in correcting mistakes or sentence construction!

Game Info pages have also been added for each game.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean my English is perfect. It's actually far from being perfect and I've still much to learn.

I'm from Holland but I hate my language... it's way too compicated and I doubt many Dutch people mastered the language 75%.....

I wouldn't go as far as to say I hate French... it's one great language, very beautiful in litterature. Only sometimes it makes things too complicated, a little like Dutch I guess...

English is a simpler language, more accurante and direct. Sometimes, there are even sentences that pops in my mind in English only, because it's easier to put into words. Then I have to work on finding a correspendance in French!
But whatsoever, I don't master English yet as well as I'd like too.

Yeah I get where you are coming from but we're getting off-topic.

Well, you started it! ;)

Ok, back on tracks. Have you read the said review? What do you think about it?

You haven't made a comment (I think) about the respawing enemies which most people don't like. Also it will take much longer to get used to the game. I always like to say "if you are used to SF1,2,3 then you may be disappointed at first. You may not have the SF feeling from other games, but don't give up!"

Well I couldn't say something like that, because I don't agree with it! Actually, I say something still similar to your point:
"Developers had this huge challenge of adapting the controls to a new gameplay that would not dishearten Gabe's fallower. The result is convincing, although they will have to spend a couple of minutes familiarizing with the few differences."
I didn't had to spend too much time findinf the right touch with TOS controls.

But it's true, I could have said a few words on respawning enemies... I'm actually surprised I didn't. I'll look up in the French version to see if I haven't missed anything. If I haven't, then I'll add a paragraph in both reviews.

Maybe you didn't need that much time to get used to it, well I needed at least 2 months to get a hang of it.

Ok... maybe I should replace the word 'a couple of minutes' by 'some time'. This way it will worth for both people who took a long time to get used to it and those who didn't take too much time.

I just read the review and it sounds like I'm going to enjoy SF: TOS more than I thought I would. I'm a SF 1, 2 & 3 veteran, so I've wanted to play this game for about 18 months now. It's an impressive review, it has given me an excellent overview of the game before I start playing it.

I'm really glad to hear that ! :D
Of course you wouldn't expect a negative review on a fansite such as mine. But still, I've tried to explain as much as possible, giving the possibility in the end for the reader to make up his own idea.

If you've been a fan of the series for a long time, you must play The Omega Strain. I can't garanty that you'll like it as much as the old ones (I did, but I know some people didn't), but you still must give it a try.
As a SF fan, you're probably dying to know who is finally the shadow behind all the conspiracy and only TOS will reveal all the plot. Only for that should you play TOS.
