Just reveiced an email from Playstation.com and I was like ogh well why not look a bit further? Skip the intro it sucks lol. But it seems quite interesting kinda like SF style. Stealth, infiltrations, action and more.

Yeah it should be a great game, actually I'm a very big fan of 24. I have series 1 and 3 on DVD and will be purchasing series 2 and 4 in the near future, apparently the game is set in between series 2 and 3 and will reveal some story detail that wasn’t revealed in the TV series. So that means I will be definitely be purchasing this game soon.

I still haven't got this game, because like you, there is just too many games I want right now (GTA: Liberty City Stories, Shinobido, MGS: Subsistance, PES 6, etc etc).

GTA:LCS is really great, the missions aren't very hard and the length is about the same as GTAIII maybe a little longer. It is not as great as SA but I'm sure you understand. The story is one big turf war (Not gangwars like SA but the missions like Woozie's missions aginst the Da Nang Boys) for control over Liberty City. And in almost every mission you have gunfights. And the game is VC style. No crouching though. This time it has a map and you can have custom targets. It's fun to roll in the LC again. For me it was backwars, I played LCS first and I just beat GTAIII storyline.

So you’re suggesting that I purchase GTA: LCS next. I was always going to get this game anyway and in fact I saw it on sale the other day for $30.00. You’ve talked me into it, I’m actually looking forward to playing this game now, thanks.

I still haven’t got it yet because I purchased Shinobido: Way of the Ninja (it was on sale for $39.95), but rest assured it will be the next game I buy.

Yes, I got it about six months ago and have already completed it twice. As you probably know I make an effort to attain 100% on any GTA game I get my hands on and this game was no exception.

I must say I enjoyed this game immensely, riding around LC on a motorbike was great. All the different cars and the SA graphics engine is probably what makes it so fun (even if it was a PSP port), the missions and storyline were great as well. I like how they always incorporate some of the old GTA characters in the new games, that always brings back good memories.

Oh yeah I still haven’t got 24: The Game yet (don’t really know why either), have you got it yet?

Yeah me too, that’s the reason I’ll soon be getting GTA: VCS as well.

You know I've never liked the GTA games at all... My brother did buy Vice Cities and San Andreas but I just couldn't find a way to like these games! Although I've seriously tried to play VC, I quit after a rather short time... And it's not the gameplay at all that repulses me, 'cause I'm a huge fan of Mafia, which plays similarly. Maybe it's the lack of realism, you know, the fact that it is more a parody than anything else.

I don't see how GTA games are less realistic than Syphon Filter.

Well, the general feeling I'd say. It looks half cartoon, half real. The caracters moves strangely, jumps too high... all that stuff. And also the themes and the action which are more funny than dramatic. I just don't get it.

The reason for the graphics is because the PS2 cannot handle awesome graphics + traffic, crowds of people on the streets.

And how about the scene where Gabe evades a missile after mission 1? And jumping from a bridge on the train, surviving that without a scratch. And Gabe and co never get's tired of running all day. For example the missions from the Catacombs to the Crash Site Colorado Mountains are all the same night.

What I want to say is, no game is realistic and will never be.

Every game has it's share of less realistic aspects, and especially action games. I guess what I mean the most when I say GT feels less realistic to me is the fact that every plot line (or almost) is brought up like a joke. Violence is funny, video sequences are funny... real life is nothing like that!

By the way, what makes you think that from the Catacomb level in SF1 up to the Colorado mountain levels in SF2 are happening on the same night? Actually, I think a lot ot time goes by during the trip from Kazakstan (end of SF1) to the USA (beginning of SF2). It could easily be half a day or even more (and it could still be nighttime in Colorado because of the time difference).

About that running stuff, I've seen actually only one game (but I guess there could be more) in which your character gets tired and has to take his breath after running for a while: Silent Hill.
