There are a lot of people who do not like this game. But I love it because you get quite a lot of times a buddy to help fighting. I like co-up. Also this game gives the 4 main characters more character depth. And I like the missions that are semi-related to Syphon Filter.

I was disappointed with the bosses, I would have expected much more from Aramov.

One of the aspects I like the most about Syphon Filter is its storyline. Although SF3 might not bring many new elements to the plot, it does, as you say, add more depth to all 4 main characters.

Also I've always like how the game brings you to many parts of the world and how each level as its own atmosphere that can be very different from one to the other. I love that diversity. And SF3 is maybe the best SF in that sense. It carries you to dramatically opposite kinds of environments.

what i don't like in the game is that there is not really a storyline. You play missions of the past, you don't have to stop something or do something (SF1 : discover the virus; SF2 : get a serum for Lian, SFOS : stop Ivankov...)

Moreover too many missions are in a desert-like landscape : Mujari, Afghanistan, Australia... I don't like that. In comparison, in SF2, which is a game that I loved, after killing Archer, all missions take place in a urban environnement (Museum, Prison, Labos, Moscow, New-York...)

And something very impotant, SF3 can't bring me emotions that i felt in SF2 or SFOS. When I finished the game i didn't have the feeling to have done something. When you're become T4 in SFOS you're very happy, when you kill Chance for the first time (and if you don't know the end), you're happy too but... that are strong feelings... Just because SF3 have no main scenario

(I speak a english perfect as you can see :( )

SF3 is about clearing up Syphon Filter for once and for all and proving you are innoncent. I also liked the old Agency missions with Benton.

I did too.

My favourite mission in SF3 was Convoy, the one in Afghanistan with Benton and Ellis. I trully love the feeling you get from that mission, all the tension there is, and the pressure that's on you (well, on Gabe to be more right).

I agree that SF3 definately had a nice range of settings, even if most of the level designs were similar (as in the desert levels mentioned above). We visited almost every continent on Earth, which helps to show off the global span of the series and the conspiracy.

Since the SF conspiracy itself is perhaps my favorite thing about the games, I would have enjoyed receiving more information concerning the Arms Consortium and who else was involved, or how far the conspiracy spread through the government, but SF3 at least provided enough background info in regards to the virus and the main characters, and that was probably more important.

Sniping Shi-Hao wasn't that bad either. 8)

I like this game a lot, first of all there are two missions set in my country (Australia) that I enjoy. I also really like the history lesson you get in this game, when I first purchased this game I had no idea it was going to be so good. Learning about Gabe's rise in the Agency ranks, how Teresa met Gabe, Mara's involvement in just about everything, etc, etc.

That information about that is in most part available in TOS. A lot of documentation in that game refers to what happened in the first 3 SF.

Anyway, I think I've said everything I could say on SF3. Again, it's all the depth it adds to the series that makes me love it so much. For those who care about storyline, SF3 sure adds a great deal of credibility to it.

What about the lot's of co-up? I like doing missions with other people around. Just not too many people because that adds up the chance I kill my own buddy lol :P

Nope I didn't, on GameFAQs I acted like I had questions about PAR times but that was all an illusion  I played TOS of course!

Well then there is a co-op mode in TOS. Isn't that enough for you?

It is, but sometimes I'd rather play with AI controlled people because of the cheaters, people who think that are tough shit, team killers and EU online is almost dead. And besides we are talking about SF3 ;)

Oh I get want you mean. You would have liked to more co-op in older SF, like you did have sometimes in a couple of mission, wouldn't you?

It's true, I like when you had to work with some other characters, although there were always doing the same things and going the same way each time you play.

I think that Dark Mirror could really please you in that sense.

Yeah I've read it, I still like escaping the catacombs with Lian the best so far.

I like this part very much too. It's true it's real nice working in team like that.

I've always said that my favourite SF3 mission was Convoy, the one with the truck in Afghanistan. Come to think of it, this one too is about co-op work with Ellis... although you got to do almost all the job yourself.

It's more like Ellis was the defender and Gabe the striker.

I really love that mission you play with Teresa. It's the only mission through the entire Syphon Filter series that you kill a few innoncent people (Without knowing).

But the Militia Compound is my favorite, especially this part:

I just can't get enough of that!
